Wedding at St. Augustine Cathedral, 2/16/11

The St. Augustine Cathedral in Waikiki has beautiful stained glass. We try to make use of it in our formal photography whenever possible. Like many churches, it's a little too dark for photography using just the available light during the ceremony, but we adjust our flash so it's not obvious. Nearby Waikiki Beach is a good place for some more formals, if you don't mind having other people in the background!

St. Joaquim Church is one of several picturesque small churches on Oahu's windward side that are great choices for traditional weddings with a strong Hawaiian feel. Near the churches are many wonderful locations for outdoor formal photography. Weddings in these churches are a nice alternative to beach weddings, and you don't have to worry about bad weather interfering with your ceremony. This video depics highlights from the wedding of an Australian woman and an American man.

There are several different attractive outdoor ceremony sites, there is a choice of indoors or outdoors for the reception, and good locations for formal photography abound. We know every nook and cranny of this place!

Our English customers love Hawaii's weather and scenery and usually take advantage of our location expertise. This couple chose Waimanalo Beach on the 30th of August for an intimate ceremony conducted partly in Hawaiian.

Australian Wedding at Paradise Cove

We've always had many customers from foreign countries, and lately we've been doing video and photography for a lot of Australians, who love Hawaii. This couple, Tyson and Alexandria, chose Paradise Cove out on the Waianae side for their wedding on June 30, and they brought a bunch of relatives with them. The ceremony location is on a point near a pretty cove. There's another, really beautiful and secluded cove nearby where we shot some of the formals. After the ceremony, they chose to enjoy the luau and Polynesian dancing show. A great time was had by all.
