We always like taking wedding photos at the Willows because the charming wedding chapel and the waterfall are great backgrounds. The Willows is an excellent venue for having your wedding, formal photography, and reception all in one compact place.

An Indian Wedding
Traditional Indian wedding ceremonies are very colorful and elaborate. This one took place at a wonderful beach home in the Koko Head area owned by model Kathy Ireland. This was one of many weddings where we have done both the photography and the video. Check out our video page for video highlights.

Formals at Kakaako Beach Park
If you have your wedding ceremony somewhere in Honolulu, Kakaako Beach Park can be a good choice for having formal pictures taken. Since it's a little hard to find compared to most beach parks, it's not crowded, and its many hills allow for a variety of backdrops all in one place.

Makapuu Beach, 5/4/11

Wedding at St. Augustine Cathedral, 2/16/11
The St. Augustine Cathedral in Waikiki has beautiful stained glass. We try to make use of it in our formal photography whenever possible. Like many churches, it's a little too dark for photography using just the available light during the ceremony, but we adjust our flash so it's not obvious. Nearby Waikiki Beach is a good place for some more formals, if you don't mind having other people in the background!
